Stream of Conscious #3

People are fallible creatures, with many faults and problems that will always exists. As I've grown I've learned the importance of lessening my expectations of those around me, as more often than not, people will disappoint you. It may sound pessimistic but when you really sit down and think about it, its true. People cannot read each others minds thus affirming the fact that only in words and actions can one ever explain to another what it is they want. Interpretations can be inhibiting, as the a difference in perception can severely alter the preferred outcome. So I stopped expecting the best, and planned for the worst. I've found that sometimes people will surprise you, and do over and above what they you expected and it's those people who are truly friends, not just "friends"
