I've become disheartened by the media due to the unfortunate sensationalism, which is necessary to sell. The almighty dollar by far outweighs what is correct and even further, what is the truth. You know things are bad when you cannot look at one station for an overall look at how things are and how things should be. The agendas of networks perpetually promotes this facade of how things are as oppsoed to what is reality. To say MSNBC is completely fair wouldn't be fair, but their alot better than Fox.
If you've been under a rock for the past week and you haven't heard about the Shirley Sherrod debacle, shoot the first thing you see when you look in the mirror, but take a look at the news. An official of the U.S. Department of Agriculture, who happened to be black, gave a speech at an NAACP event and had her words taken out of context by a conservative blogger thus spawning a Fox "Newsgasm" of negativity and delusion. I posted some links on twitter (Gstowers2) of Rachel Maddow exposing the truth.
